The cleanliness of the home is of a high standard . The activities are very good singing dancing flower arranging and games, bingo, and a lot more .. Good care all round .

Mum has been in Willow Bank since September 2019 due to her advancing dementia, she found the change very hard at first and all the staff went out of their way to help her settle in with kindness, patience and understanding, ringing either my brother or I if mum became distressed so she could speak to us and made us welcome any time in the home whenever we visited!! I have always enjoyed my visits to mum with staff happy for me to take mum out or for me to stay in the home with her. It’s very warm and welcoming with bright surroundings and residents and staff generally jolly and happy. On Christmas Day 2019 when I visited mum she became very upset when I had to leave and the staff were so kind and caring with her and rang me later to let me know she was happy and had eaten a lovely dinner..it’s things like that that mean so much to the residents loved ones!!
Then came the dreaded Covid a year ago with all visits stopped!! This is where these wonderful carers have come into their own giving love, care and happiness and genuinely being family to the residents. Every portal call I have with mum has a lovely lady sat with her who obviously knows mum well and is so lovely with her, telling me what mum has been up to and jollying mum out of any sad moments she may have...they don’t rush you and nothing seems too much trouble!
The Facebook page is such a joy to us as a family to be able to get an insight into the activities and goings on in the home ...the photos are always a joy to see ... Long may it last!!
I shall be for ever grateful to all the staff at Willow Bank for taking the place of mum’s family through these awful times and doing it with so much kindness, thought and love.
Thank you every one at Willow Bank !!!

My mum has been at Willowbank for just over a year. I am so pleased to see how interactive she is with the variety of activities that they have to offer. She is always smiling and happy. The whole team have been brilliant throughout the pandemic and I can't recommend them enough.

My mother is a resident at Willow Bank and receives a high standard of professional care from the Manager and all the staff employed. The food is good quality with amazing birthday cakes baked for each resident on their special day. Always clean with uplifting surroundings inside and in the gardens. The shop windows are a delight and stimulating artwork and decor throughout the building. Many activities are offered which clearly enjoyed by the residents and staff - artwork, exercises and singalongs are all encouraged - even a game of table tennis! Communications from the home are kept updated and nothing is too much trouble for the staff. My mother is safe, happy and well cared for at Willow Bank - I can ask for no more. Thank you everyone.

My mother lives at Willowbank and I can’t speak highly enough of the care and love she has and does receive there. Especially during the last 12 months when Covid has made life so difficult for everyone. The team at Willowbank have arranged visits whenever possible and when they weren’t they have arranged video chats and regular updates and photos on their FB page. The whole place is bright and well furnished and with lots of care taken to incorporate areas to enhance the residents wellbeing including a Sensory room. The food is delicious ( my mum actually put weight on when she first arrived there she loved it so much). There are lots of activities organised to keep the residents engaged and the staff are so lovely and caring. You can always talk to management as well as carers which especially at difficult times is a great comfort. Thank you all at Willowbank for looking after my mum so well.
